a lot of Berserk inspired media seeks to replicate the experience of being Guts (strong and aggressive) and not the experience of being Guts (someone with power over you decides you're an acceptable sacrifice for their painfully-earned protagonist arc)
exactly!! it's for exactly this reason that playing FaH feels much more Guts-like than any official Berserk game. in those moments where you're desperately and aggressively beating something to death, fully knowing that you're one turn from it killing you, you're feeling that "constructed strength"
